Soft treats: soft, grain-free and ideal for training

Soft treats are quick to portion, making them perfect for training. The centrepiece of our range is the Lieblings-Lecker line in 1.5cm pieces, available with duck, chicken, lamb, horse, beef, goat, venison or rabbit, eight protein sources in total to suit almost every preference.

Then there are the Cheese & Potato Softies for dogs who prefer a milder note without a dominant meaty aroma, the Soft Bone Goose in a classic bone shape, and the Soft Star Potato & Poultry in a playful shape. The vegetarian Tutti Frutti Soft Fruit Mix also offers an alternative that's completely meat-free.

All our soft treats are formulated grain-free. The small pieces are easy to break apart by hand and are ideal for lots of short rewards during training, without your dog needing to chew for long and interrupting the flow of the session.

With eight different protein sources in the Lieblings-Lecker line, there's a suitable soft treat variety for almost every preference and food intolerance, from less common goat or venison through to classic chicken or beef, all without resorting to grain or unnecessary additives.

The Tutti Frutti Soft Fruit Mix is also suitable for training days when meat is deliberately left out, for instance during an elimination diet using a different protein source. All ingredients are processed without artificial flavourings.

For focused training with lots of short repetitions, the Lieblings-Lecker line is especially recommended, as the 1.5cm pieces can easily be broken into even smaller morsels without losing their appeal for your dog. Anyone training during an elimination diet can choose the matching protein source, such as Lieblings-Lecker goat or venison for particularly sensitive dogs. The vegetarian Tutti Frutti Soft Fruit Mix is also suitable for training days when no extra meat should be fed. For particularly intensive training sessions with many repetitions, the 1.5cm Lieblings-Lecker pieces can be halved again if needed, without your dog losing interest. This means a single piece is enough for several short rewards in a row, which is especially handy for basic obedience work with lots of repetitions.

Opened bags stay soft for longest when sealed tightly and stored in a dry place, as direct sunlight or warmth will dry out the texture more quickly. Since soft treats are fed quickly and in large numbers, it's especially worth keeping an eye on the total amount given over the course of the day.
