Game meat is fed less often, which makes it an interesting option for dogs with intolerances to beef or chicken. Our Game Treats include rabbit, venison and wild boar sticks, as well as the small Knusper-Lecker rabbit cubes for lots of short rewards.

Among the soft varieties, you can choose Lieblings-Lecker venison and rabbit, while the firmer meat strips come in venison, rabbit, roe deer and wild boar, four game species in total across several textures. All varieties are grain-free and made without unnecessary additives.

This brings variety to your treat stock while giving you an option for sensitive dogs on hand, without missing out on choice when it comes to training or rewards. Rabbit is considered one of the milder game varieties, while wild boar has a slightly stronger flavour.

Whether as firm sticks, crunchy cubes or soft treats, game proteins such as venison, roe deer and rabbit are available in several textures, so there's a suitable size for every training session, from the small training reward to the more substantial chew snack.

For an elimination diet agreed with our team, the game varieties are particularly well suited, as they have so far rarely featured in most dogs' bowls and are therefore considered a novel protein.

If you're introducing your dog to game treats for the first time, you can start with the small Knusper-Lecker rabbit cubes before offering the firmer venison or wild boar sticks. For dogs on an elimination diet, game treats should consistently match the same protein source as the main food and chews, so as not to skew the diagnostic process. The soft Lieblings-Lecker venison and rabbit varieties work well for training sessions with lots of repetitions, while the meat strips are better suited to longer, calmer chewing moments. In this way, the game treats category, with four different game species across several textures, offers a complete alternative for dogs that react sensitively to more common proteins such as beef or chicken. The handy game treats also make a good reward on walks, as they're easy to carry in a small pouch without crumbling or giving off a strong smell.

Game treats can be stored dry and well sealed, and have a pleasantly neutral smell, ideal for a pocket on walks or a training bag in dog sports.

If you don't want to miss out on variety during an ongoing elimination diet, you can switch between the four game species without leaving the protein source behind. This keeps everyday training interesting while the diagnostic process remains reliable.
