Poultry is an easily digestible source of protein and therefore popular with many dogs. Our range includes chicken breast fillet, chicken necks, chicken feet, chicken hearts and chicken gizzards, as well as duck necks, turkey wings and turkey necks in a handy 2-piece format.

All the chews are air-dried and free from additives, and poultry naturally contains cartilage and fine bone content that can support dental care while chewing. A good choice for dogs of any size who enjoy a longer gnaw without reaching straight for heavier chews.

From small chicken feet for a quick treat to more substantial turkey wings, this category has a suitable poultry chew for every occasion. Chicken hearts and chicken gizzards also provide a low-calorie reward in between meals, ideal for dogs that need to watch their weight.

Chicken breast fillet is a lean, single-source fillet with no bone content, while duck necks and chicken necks offer additional chewing stimulation thanks to their natural structure. Turkey necks, with their thinner shape, are particularly well suited to smaller dogs or as a quick treat.

All raw materials are processed without artificial flavours or colourings. As with all animal-based chews containing natural components, feeding should always be supervised, especially with very eager eaters.

If you're introducing your dog to poultry chews, pay close attention to calm, controlled chewing, particularly with chicken necks and duck necks, and watch closely the first few times. Smaller dogs are best suited to the lighter chicken feet and chicken hearts, while larger dogs will stay occupied for longer with the slightly more substantial turkey wings. As poultry is one of the lower-calorie protein sources in the chew range overall, it can also be given more regularly to overweight dogs than richer beef or buffalo chews. This makes the poultry category a light, everyday chewing occupation that combines well with more intensive chews such as beef or buffalo for special occasions. Offering several types of poultry in rotation, such as alternating chicken necks and turkey wings, keeps everyday chewing varied without straying from the mild, easily digestible poultry base.

Poultry chews are easy to store in a cool, dry place and, thanks to their mild smell, are also well suited to taking out and about, for example in a jacket pocket or rucksack for a walk.

As many varieties in this category are comparatively low in calories, they can be used more frequently as a reward without quickly blowing the daily ration. Still, factor the amount into your dog's overall feeding plan, especially if your dog is also fed dry food or wet food.

Poultry Chews: häufig gefragt

💡
