Dog food with venison

Venison is a lean, high-quality game meat and a well-tolerated, rare protein source. Our venison varieties are single-source, grain-free and free from unnecessary additives.

Venison is a lean game meat and one of the best-tolerated protein sources for sensitive dogs. As a wild animal, deer grow up outside intensive livestock farming and belong to the varieties that most dogs rarely come into contact with in everyday life.

This makes venison a sensible choice for food intolerances and for an elimination diet. Our venison products are grain-free and free from sugar, flavourings and preservatives.

Alongside chews such as the Natural Venison Skin, we also offer venison as wet food. This lets you combine food and snacks from the same single meat source, an advantage only a few suppliers offer.

Frequently asked questions

Is venison good for dogs?

Yes. Venison is lean, high in protein and easy to digest. As a game meat, it's often used for sensitive dogs and as part of elimination diets.

Is venison suitable for allergy-prone dogs?

Venison isn't one of the common triggers; the typical allergens in dogs are beef, chicken, dairy and wheat. Whether venison is right in an individual case depends on what the dog has eaten before. If an allergy is already known, discuss this with your vet.
