Frequently asked questions

All answers come from genuine product information, nothing embellished, nothing made up.

How many chews and treats are there at kauliebe.com?
Currently 82 chews and 48 treats, more than 100 varieties combined. The full range comprises 204 active products.
What Does Single-Protein Mean?
A single-protein product contains only one single animal protein source. This is essential for an elimination diet: only when exactly one protein is involved can a food allergy actually be narrowed down.
What Exotic Proteins Are Available?
Rabbit, horse, venison and goat. These proteins are new to most dogs, which is why they're suitable for an elimination diet if a food allergy is suspected. Horse and venison are available as single-protein food, and all of them as single-protein snacks from the same protein source.
Is the range grain-free?
Yes. Food, chews and treats are grain-free and gluten-free. We also avoid added sugar.
Does It Contain Artificial Additives?
No. The products contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. For the chews, gentle air-drying takes the place of preservation.
How are the chews made?
Gently air-dried. This largely preserves flavour and nutrients, without the need for artificial preservatives.
Where are the products made?
This depends on the product group: wet food is made in the EU, and our chews and snacks come from the EU, with the exception of a few exotic varieties that naturally come from outside the EU. For dry food, we deliberately avoid a blanket statement of origin, as individual ingredients may come from outside the EU. The registered office of NANDOO Premium Hundefutter GmbH is Xanten on the Lower Rhine; some snack ranges come from partner brands, with the brand stated on the relevant product page.
Why Does Every Product Show a Unit Price?
So sizes can be compared fairly. The unit price is calculated for each pack size on offer; for dry food, the 2 kg pack costs €10.95 per kg, while the 15 kg pack costs €5.93 per kg.
