Turkey is one of the most easily digestible meat proteins there is: lean, well tolerated and with a pleasant flavour that most dogs readily accept. Rice as a carbohydrate source has a long tradition in bland diets for dogs: it is easy to digest, barely irritates the stomach lining and helps stabilise the gut flora. The combination of turkey and rice is therefore ideal for gastrointestinal issues, during illness, in convalescence, or as a long-term diet for dogs with a chronically sensitive stomach.

Yes, the Landhaus Menü contains rice as a carbohydrate source. Botanically, rice belongs to the grain family, but it is gluten-free and considered one of the most easily tolerated grains for dogs.
