The NANDOO Happy Chicken wet food relies on chicken meat as the sole animal protein source, a lean, easily digestible poultry that is rich in essential amino acids and extremely well tolerated by most dogs.
Carrot provides beta-carotene as a precursor to vitamin A and supports eyesight as well as the immune system. Apple contains natural pectin fibres, which act as a prebiotic to promote gut flora. The food is entirely grain-free and free from synthetic colourants, flavourings and preservatives. Gently cooked for optimal nutrient retention. Made in Germany in accordance with EU Pet Food Regulation 767/2009.

Is Happy Chicken also suitable for dogs with a sensitive stomach?
Yes, chicken meat is considered in veterinary nutrition to be one of the most easily digestible protein sources. Combined with carrot and apple, it creates a stomach-friendly recipe that is also suitable for dogs with sensitive digestion. However, the food is not suitable for dogs with a known chicken allergy, in which case we recommend the hypoallergenic Happy Deer (venison) or the Jagdhaus Menü.
Does Happy Chicken contain green-lipped mussel extract?
No, Happy Chicken is formulated without green-lipped mussel extract. It is designed to be a simple, well-tolerated recipe. For dogs that would specifically benefit from the joint support provided by green-lipped mussel, we recommend Happy Beef or Happy Deer, which do contain this extract.
Can I combine Happy Chicken with NANDOO dry food?
Yes, mixed feeding (combining wet and dry food) is nutritionally safe. When combining the two, keep an eye on total calorie intake and reduce each daily portion accordingly. NANDOO's dry food for adult dogs with poultry pairs well with Happy Chicken wet food.
How long does an opened tin keep?
Unopened tins keep at room temperature until the best-before date. Once opened: transfer the contents to an airtight container and store in the fridge (2 to 7°C). We recommend using within 2 to 3 days. Allow the food to reach room temperature before feeding.
Is this food suitable as a complete meal?
Yes, NANDOO Happy Chicken wet food is declared as a complete feed and contains all the nutrients adult dogs need in accordance with FEDIAF guidelines. It can be fed entirely on its own, without any further supplements.
